WARRANTY AND MAINTENANCE

 

Stone Peak takes warranty seriously. It is important to login to your account to post any issues you have. This way we can track and not loose any items. Please use the login and let us know if you have any questions. Stone Peak covers many items over the first 2 years. We can offer extended warranties as well if you wish, which would cover appliances and other items in your home.

 

 

Starting in 2018, Stone Peak Custom Homes is providing, what we feel is the best warranty available for your home. We've partnered with Quality Builders Warranty which provides a national standard for home construction, maintenance and warranty. Backed by Liberty Mutual insurance, they have the backing and resources should the need arise. When you close on your home, you will be sent a login to the warranty system where they will provide to you standards, time lines and information about your home warranty. Ask your representative about your coverage.

 

 

When warranty issues arise, it is important to know who to tell. Login to our warranty page to note your warranty items. There are two to choose from, both will help us track your items. Quality Builder Warranty login is for new homes covered by the Quality Builders Warranty. The Stone Peak Custom Warranty is for additions, special projects and homes without the Quality Builders Warranty which is most homes prior to July 2018.

 

 

We've found that knowing how to take care of your home will usually prevent warranty items. Also knowing what is covered and what is the responsibility of the home owner will generally make life easier for everyone. Check out our Maintenance and Education links.

As a building standard we use a National 3rd party to identify when things in a home should be covered or are considered industry standard. This way if something needs to be reviewed, it isn't our opinion or that of a TV show that sets the standard, it is a national industry acceptable standard. See the PDF below for standards. If you have an item that you think might be covered under warranty, please refer to the Building Standards Agreement below first to see if you question is answered. If your warranty item is covered, feel free to submit it for review. If your item is not covered in the agreement, it will not be addressed as a warrantable item.

 

 

Building Standards​ Agreement

 
If you have purchased a Ready Move In home, and it has a Quality Builder Warranty attached to it, then you are covered under the same warranty as if we built a new custom home for you. Since you purchased an existing home, please remember that you will not have any final walks after you move into your beautiful new home. The home is as-is and we will only cover what is in the warranty agreement. You are welcome to have a home inspector check it out for you before you close.
